Spring Fling at River Farm





Tuesday, May 20th @ 11am
Please join us for our last social of the 2013/14 Membership year.

 River Farm is a historic 25 acre site on the Potomac that was part of George Washington's original five farms and has been the National Headquarters for the American Horticultural Society since 1973.

 There will be a delicious spread of food for all to enjoy, along with sangria to celebrate the past season and kick-off the summer! There will be lawn games and you are encouraged to tour the gardens, flat shoes recommended.

Our very own member, Gladys Rodriguez, originally from Cuba, wanted to give back to her adopted country by supporting our wounded Marines through the Semper Fi Fund. The second cookbook, Recipes from Across the World, was published in 2014 and is a great gift idea for friends, family, teachers or anyone else!
