Keeping with tradition, in lieu of a gift exchange, MASC will be collecting donations for the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. We are thrilled that once again GoDaddy.com will have a fund matching campaign which will double our donation to this wonderful cause!

SEMPER FI FUND- DINE TO DONATE

November 11th, Brio's Restaurants in Annapolis, Inner Harbor, Bethesda & Tysons' Corner's Dine-In Fundraiser for the Semper Fi Fund, Brio's will donate 20% of your bill, excluding alcoholic beverages, to all who mention the Semper Fi Fund when you pay the bill. If you prefer, make a reservation online at www.opentable.com and write Semper Fi Fund on the reservation request. Please spread the word. 

 

WW II MEMORIAL AND WASHINGTON MONUMENT

Join MASC as we welcome Honor Vets at the WWII Memorial followed by a tour to the top of the Washington Monument (fee of $1.50) Metro travel and lunch is on your own. Please RSVP by 10/23 to marineasc@gmail.com to reserve your spot. Payment details will be conveyed upon receipt of your RSVP. Due to a limited number of tour spots, the Washington Monument portion of the event will initially be limited to MASC members only. We will also organize Metro riding groups at Springfield & Alexandria and give more details closer to the event.

Spring Fling at River Farm

River Farm is a historic 25 acre site on the Potomac that was part of George Washington's original five farms and has been the National Headquarters for the American Horticultural Society since 1973.

Please join us at the Army Navy Country Club for lunch and a celebration of MASC.  Our group began in April of 1949, with its first meeting at the Army Navy Country Club!  This year marks our 65^th anniversary!!!

For lunch they will be serving Parmesan Chicken – a broiled boneless breast of chicken in a parmesan cheese crust, served with a sun dried tomato-caper cream sauce.  All entrées include a Fresh Garden Salad with Ranch Dressing & Balsamic Vinaigrette, Rolls, Butter, Freshly Brewed Regular and Decaffeinated Coffee, and Hot Tea. All meals come with your choice of  Oven Roasted Potatoes or Saffron Rice, and a Medley of Fresh Seasonal Vegetables. If you have any dietary restrictions, please make a note of it on your RSVP and they will provide you with a suitable substitute.
